Using sound to heal is not a new concept. Human beings have been using sound as a tool for healing for more then 40,000 years. Using not only the voice as a profound tool, but also various instruments to provide healing of the mind, body and spirit.
Sound therapy or sound healing is grounded in the understanding that everything is vibrating as specific frequencies. When things are coherent, or vibrating in harmony things move and flow together, the system is working optimally. When we are in a chronic state of stress, physically or energetically depleted, or living with compounded trauma things start to vibrate out of a coherent state. Sound therapy can help to provide a pathway back to coherence to harmony, to deeper peace and the ability to open into our own healing nature.
